What TAP is.

One place to keep your artist's facts, intro, bio, photos, riders and contacts up to date. Connected apps read it automatically, and anyone who opens your pages sees the same version. Verified on an artist means TAP checked that the people behind this profile are the artist or their team. This page says what TAP is, who makes it, and why.

What TAP is

One profile, one passport.

An artist keeps its material in one place. A person carries proof of belonging to that artist. Both are free.

01 The artist profile Name, facts, intro, bio, photos, logos, riders, channels and contacts, with a website, a links page, a music page and an EPK reading from them. What an artist gets
02 The passport Your proof that you belong to an artist, and in which role. Platforms read it instead of asking you for evidence. The passport
03 The wallet A pass a fan keeps in their phone, so an artist can reach the people who follow it. Designed, not built. The wallet Coming soon
Why

One bio, five copies, every copy stale.

The agency has a PDF, the festival a zip, the ticketing site a text field, and each one goes out of date on its own. TAP is the one profile they all read.

One profile
The artist writes it once. Every page and app reads it the moment it is saved.
Owned by the artist
Not by the agency, not by the platform. The artist decides who is in.
Checked by us
TAP checked that the people behind this profile are the artist or their team. Everyone who reads the artist sees that it is verified, and the date.
Who makes it

Made by the people behind Stagent.

Stagent is booking software for agencies and artists. TAP grew out of one problem it kept meeting.

Every agency on Stagent kept its own copy of every artist's bio, photos and contacts, and every promoter asked for them again. So we built the profile the artist owns and everyone reads. Stagent was the first app to read it. TAP and Stagent are one company, so data between the two never leaves the house. Who we are in law is in the legal documents.
