Nothing moves. No drive, no load-in, no set. On a routed tour the day off is taken in the same city as the night before, because moving turns it into a travel day.

- Voices and hearing recover, which decides whether week three sounds like week one
- Laundry, repairs, restringing, repacking
- Admin: settlements, guest lists, invoices, the next advance
- Driver rest, which EU rules require rather than suggest
What it costs
A hotel night and food for the whole party with no fee against it. Tours park days off in cheaper cities, or beside a border crossing, for that reason.
Who decides
The agent and the tour manager set them while the run is being routed. Adding one later means dropping or moving a show, so ask for the day off before the routing is confirmed, not from the back of the van in week two.
