Passport

The document TAP issues to a person: their name, their photo, the date it was issued, and the artists they belong to.

On TAP

Request one once you are a member of an artist, have a verified email address and a verified phone number, and have set a photo of yourself as your avatar. TAP reviews every request.

A passport belongs to a person, not to a band. It answers one question: who is this, and which artists do they work in.

What it shows

  • The holder's name and photo.
  • The date it was issued.
  • Every artist the holder belongs to, with their role in each one.

How a person gets one

Four things have to be true before a request can be made: the holder is a member of at least one artist, their email address is confirmed, their phone number is verified, and they have set a photo of themselves as their avatar. Then they request the passport and TAP reviews it. TAP issues it, or denies it with a reason the holder can read.

It can be taken back

TAP issues the passport and can revoke it. It is a document TAP stands behind, not a profile the holder owns outright.

Apps

A connected app reads a holder's passport through the API once the holder has authorised that app. Without that authorisation it reads nothing.

Free for artists.

One place to keep your artist's facts, intro, bio, photos, riders and contacts up to date. Change it once and every promoter opens the newest version. Yours at tap.fm/yourname.
