A link to a track, an album or a video plays on the page. A link to a profile does not: a permanent presence is a channel, not a link.
Plays on the page
- Spotify: a track or an episode, and an album, playlist, artist page or show. On the links page every one of them plays in the small player, one row tall; the release page gives an album the full one.
- YouTube: a video, a short or a live stream. The cover is shown; the player loads when a visitor presses play.
- SoundCloud: a track or a set.
- Mixcloud: a show.
- Apple Music: a song, an album or a playlist.
Spotify, SoundCloud, Mixcloud and Apple Music come from those companies and can set their own cookies, so a player shows a Load player button until the visitor says yes to players. After that yes, players load with the page.
Stays a card
Everything else: a ticket page, a shop, a news item, a profile on any platform. A card shows the title, the description and the image you gave it.
On the website
The website shows the top three visible links under Links, minus any link to a release its Music section already shows and minus the headings. The heading reads Latest only where no Music section stands above it and the first of those links plays.
