Every change to an artist lands on its Activity page. Activity by email brings the changes someone else made to your inbox, for every artist you are on.
What arrives
One mail after each round of changes. Once nobody has changed the artist for half an hour, the mail lists everything since the last one, grouped by what it touched, with who changed it. A whole sitting is one mail, each group showing ten lines at most and then how many more. You are not mailed the changes you made yourself; the rest of the team does get them.
Owners get every change, the team and the apps included. A member gets the changes to the artist, its pages and its verification. An outside address gets those too, without the team's requests and TAP's decisions on them. It reads that the artist is verified or renamed, never that a request went in or was turned down.
A message through the contact form, someone asking for access to the EPK, the EPK opened with a key and a release reaching its pre-savers are not changes, so they stay on the Activity page and out of the mail.
On for you, or off
It is on for everyone on the team, for every artist they are on, from the day they join and once they have signed in with their address. Switch it per artist:
- Open Account, then Notifications.
- Under Artist activity, switch off the artists you do not want, or back on.
- Press Save.
The link at the foot of every mail switches that one artist off, and its page leads to the same list. Switched back on, the next mail starts from then, never with what you missed. The artist's name in the list opens its Activity page, which says whether you get it and links back. Someone editing through an app is not on the team and gets no mail; they add an address instead.
Send it to an outside address
An owner, or someone editing through an app, can add an address that is not on the team, such as an agency's bookings inbox.
- Open the artist, then Settings, then Activity.
- Under Outside addresses, press Add address.
- Enter the address and press Add address.
The address gets one mail asking to confirm. When someone editing through an app adds it, the owners get a mail too. Nothing else arrives until someone there confirms, and the button works for 7 days. An outside address hears about a published artist only. Its mail signs a change as the team, as the app that made it or as TAP, never with a person's name, and its button opens the artist's website.
An agency that works on its artists through an app connected to them can ask TAP to add one of its addresses to all of them at once. TAP adds it without the mail asking to confirm, and mails the owners of each artist that it did.
Remove an address
Press Remove beside it, three times. An address added by someone editing through an app goes when an owner disconnects that app. The person at the address can stop it from the link at the foot of any mail. The list then says 'Stopped by the address', and the address cannot be added again until it is removed.
