How it works
An agent opens the artist in the app their agency uses and clicks Manage on TAP. They land in the editor and run the artist's pages the way an owner does:
- Edit the profile and every page.
- Publish, and set who can see each page.
- Give keys to the EPK and answer requests for one.
- Read Stats and Activity.
- Verify a domain and put the website on it.
- Add members and owners, change anyone's role and remove a member. Never make themselves an owner, and never take an owner away.
- Add and remove outside addresses that get the activity by email.
- See the apps with access.
The rest stays with the owners: making an owner a member or removing one, connecting and disconnecting apps, ending someone's app access, taking a domain off, requesting verification or a name change, and the Danger zone, where unpublishing, the export and deletion live.
When someone with app access publishes, chooses the pages, changes who can see a page, adds, changes or removes a member, or adds an outside address, every owner gets a mail naming the person and the app. When the app does it itself, publishing or unpublishing the artist or changing who can see a page, every owner gets a mail naming the app.
The access lasts 48 hours and renews every time they arrive from the app. It ends on its own, at once when an owner ends it for now, and for good when an owner disconnects the app. An outside address they added stays when their access ends, and goes when an owner disconnects the app.
Where it shows
- On the artist, under Apps on the Access tab, the App access section lists everyone who holds it: via which app, who handed it over, and when it expires.
- On their own Home, under Your artists, marked Via app, with the app and when the access expires.
End one person's access for now
On the artist, under Apps on the Access tab, press End for now on their row. The app keeps working and everyone else keeps theirs. The person sees the lapsed page the next time they open the editor, naming the app and saying an owner ended it.
It holds until the app hands the access out again, which happens the moment that person clicks Manage on TAP for this artist, or arrives with it in a roster the app sends. To end it for good, disconnect the app.
To end it for everyone at once, disconnect the app: Apps that work on the artist.
When it lapses
The person sees 'Your access to {artist} lapsed', with the way back: open the artist in the app and click Manage on TAP again.
