Activity: what happened, and who did it

Every artist has an Activity page for its team and the people editing it through an app. Your account has one of its own.

Your account

On an artist

Activity on the artist lists everything that happened to it, newest first: edits, uploads, team changes, publishing, apps connecting, verification. Each line says when it happened, and who did it when that was somebody other than you. Your own lines carry no name, so a name on the page means somebody else touched the artist. An app that made the change is named; a change made by a schedule, like the weekly domain check, reads as TAP.

Owners see it, and so does someone editing through an app, who is named on their own lines. A member sees the lines about the artist, its pages and its verification, without the team and the apps, and reaches the page from the link in an activity mail or the artist's name under Account, Notifications. It stays open while an artist is suspended. To get the changes by mail instead: Get the activity by email. For owners and the people editing through an app, a line leads to the page the thing it is about lives on, so you can go straight there, and the filter above the list narrows it to the artist, the pages, the team, apps and keys, verification or the account. A member's lines lead nowhere, and their filter offers the artist, the pages and verification.

Edits to the same thing by one person within ten minutes are one line, with the changes under it; when more than one thing moved, the line says how many. The same action repeated is one line too: eight nudges to the running order read 'Reordered the press photos', and five photos read 'Added 5 files to the press photos' whether you drag them in one at a time or all at once. A switch says where it landed: 'Set search indexing to off'. Everything else stands on its own line, with its own time.

On your account

The Activity tab under Account lists what happened to you: sign-ins, apps you connected, keys you made, changes to your name and phone, and the moment your email address was proven, whether that was a code you typed or a sign-in link you opened.

A sign-in reads 'Signed in with a sign-in link from Safari on iOS', so you can tell your own phone from a machine that is not yours. The IP address stays off the line and goes in the mail instead.

Asking for a sign-in link is a line of its own, and it reads 'A sign-in link was requested for your address', because the line cannot know it was you who asked. If you see one you did not ask for, somebody typed your address into the sign-in form. A link we made for you reads 'Issued a sign-in link for your address' by TAP.

When a browser we have not seen before signs in as you, we mail you 'New sign-in to TAP' with the browser, the platform, the IP address and the time.

If a sign-in is not yours, press 'Sign out everywhere' under Account, on the Sign-in tab. It ends every other browser and leaves the one you are in. Apps you signed in to and API keys stay: revoke the app under Sign in with TAP or replace your keys yourself, then write to us.

What is recorded

A contact's phone number and email address, and the EPK notes, are recorded as changed, never with their value. Reads are not recorded.

Your activity travels with your export, and it stays after you delete the account, with nobody's name on it: Your export, and deleting your account.
