Contacts live under Contacts. The website and the EPK both show them under Contacts, and the EPK adds a Save contact link per person.
From your team
A team member can be listed as a contact, and only they decide that. They switch on 'Show as a contact on the website and the EPK' and give the email and phone to show, in one of two places:
- Under Contacts, on their own row. That is for an owner: a member who is not an owner does not open the editor.
- Under Account, on the General tab, in the card Contact on artist pages. It lists every artist they belong to, apart from a suspended one.
Leave the email empty and the contact shows no email; Use my email fills the field with the address you sign in with.
An owner cannot put somebody else on the pages or type their details. An owner can take a member off: open the menu on their row and press Take off the pages.
A member who has not signed in yet cannot be listed: a contact without a name is not a contact.
Activity lists changes to a member's contact details separately from role and permission changes. Switching contact visibility records whether it is visible or hidden. These contact entries open Contacts; they record that an email or phone changed, not its previous or new value.
Contacts
People or companies without a TAP account, like a bookings inbox or a management company.
- Name, company, or both. One of the two is required.
- Roles: Artist, Manager, Tour manager, Agent, Publisher, Label, Publicist, Crew, Advancing or Primary contact. Choose more than one when needed.
- Territories for an Agent: Worldwide, Europe, Benelux, UK and Ireland, DACH, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Middle East or Africa.
- Email or phone. One of the two is required.
- Website and an avatar, if you want them shown. The avatar is a JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB and 30 megapixels.
The arrows on each row set the order. Contacts read in that order on the website, on the EPK and in the download.
The message form
After Contacts on the website and under Contacts on the EPK, a reader can write to your team without knowing who to write to. They pick what it is about and TAP hands the message to the contacts who carry that role:
- Bookings goes to your Agent contacts. Where your agents carry territories, the reader picks the territory and the message goes to the agents who cover it.
- Advancing goes to your Advancing contacts.
- Press goes to your Publicist contacts.
- Something else goes to your Primary contact, or to your Manager contacts when there is no primary contact.
A subject with nobody behind it is not offered, and an artist with no contact carrying any of those roles shows no form. On the website the form is a section of its own, Message form: switch it off or move it under Website, The website. A contact without an email address never receives a message; the page still shows their phone number.
TAP passes it on and keeps no copy of what the reader wrote. Reply to the mail and your answer goes straight to the reader. Activity records one line naming the subject and the page it came from, never the reader or what they wrote.
An older contact can still show its original role text until you choose roles. Clearing your chosen roles leaves the contact without a role; it does not bring that older text back. Team members keep their single team role.
