Both live in the danger zone at the foot of Settings. Only owners see it.
The export
Download it whenever you want. It is a zip with:
profile.json: the name, handle, bio, intro, facts, notes, channels, the shop, contacts, press quotes, videos, links, the team, the outside addresses that get the activity by email, branding, who can see each page, every handle the artist ever had, and the activity.- Every file: the avatar, the screen logo, the favicon, the hero image, the shop image, the press photos, the logos and the riders, each in a folder of its own.
The EPK download is the kit a promoter asks for. This one is your own copy, so the riders travel with it whatever the EPK is set to: Press photos, logos and riders.
Deleting the artist
- Press Delete artist in the danger zone. Three presses confirm it.
- Every owner gets a mail saying the artist is set to be deleted, with the date and where to stop it.
- For 7 days nothing happens. Any owner can press Keep the artist and it is off. Everyone gets a second mail saying it is staying.
- After 7 days the artist is emptied and the owners get a confirmation.
What deleting does
- The website, links page, music page and EPK go offline. The address answers as unavailable.
- Connected apps lose the artist. They see it the next time they read its status.
- Access keys you handed out stop working.
- The team is cleared, the press quotes and videos go, and the artist's own files are removed, including contact portraits, link images and artwork uploaded for its releases.
- Shared releases and their shared artwork remain in the catalogue, including releases with no artist page left. Other artists' release pages and files stay untouched. Fans keep their pre-save agreements; attribution to the deleted artist's release page is cleared.
- The handle is retired. Nobody gets it, not you and not anyone else, so a link already printed never lands on someone new.
Download the export before you delete. Once the 7 days are up the export is gone with everything else.
A verified artist deletes the same way. Deleting one artist leaves your account and your other artists alone: Your account.
