Press quotes live under EPK, on the Material tab. Ten is the most a profile carries, so keep the ones a promoter would quote back.
What a quote holds
- Quote: the line itself, up to 280 characters. Leave the quotation marks off; the pages set them.
- Publication: the title that printed it, up to 80 characters.
- Author: the writer, where the piece carries a name.
- Published on: the date of the piece.
- URL: the piece itself, where it is online. TAP strips the tracking parameters a share sheet adds.
The quote and the publication are the two TAP asks for. The rest is yours to leave empty.
Add a press quote
- Press Add press quote in the head of the Press quotes section.
- Paste the line and name the publication.
- Fill in the author, the date and the address where you have them.
- Press Add press quote.
The editor opens as a sheet. Press a row to change it, and the arrows on a row move it one place.
Where they show up
The EPK prints them after Notes, with a Copy button: The EPK. The website shows the first three under Press quotes: The website.
Apps read quotes with the rest of the profile: The API reference. They are in profile.json in the export: Export and delete.
